Held on May 2, 2025, in Bethesda, the Maryland Space Business Roundtable (MSBR) 28th Annual Gala was a night to remember! The Gala brought together leaders from across Maryland’s aerospace and defense community to celebrate innovation, partnership, and our shared commitment to STEM education.

Proceeds from the event directly support MSBR’s mission to fund scholarships and STEM outreach programs for Maryland students, building the pipeline of tomorrow’s scientists, engineers, and space explorers. In total, we raised over $16,000 for our Education Outreach Program, benefiting STEM activities throughout Maryland.

We were also honored to recognize the following MSBR award winners:
· Constellation Award – Small Business: a.i. solutions
· Constellation Award – Large Business: Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory for their Girl Power STEM Program
· STEM Star Award: Mina Samii
· Lifetime Achievement Award: Milton Davis

A special thank you to our distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Elizabeth “Zibi” Turtle, Principal Investigator for NASA’s Dragonfly mission to Titan, for her inspiring remarks and groundbreaking work in planetary science.

The Gala wasn’t just a celebration, it was a powerful networking opportunity for professionals and companies committed to growing Maryland’s space economy and advancing space science and technology.
