About MSBR: Overview
What Is the MSBR?
The Maryland Space Business Roundtable (MSBR) is an organization
that encourages the growth and development of aerospace-related
business in Maryland. We are a major contributor in the continuous
fight to keep major projects at the Goddard Space Flight Center,
and to keep other DOD facilities within the state of Maryland, such
as supporting the expansion of the Naval Air Station at Patuxent
River. We lead the aerospace section of the Governor's campaign
to expand the state's business base, providing specific recommendations
to improve the business climate.
The MSBR has its sights on the future of high technology. We provide
forums by leading aerospace leaders to educate the industry on initiatives
and goals. Our vigorous educational outreach
program encourages students to enter these fields by our support
to efforts in several schools throughout the counties in the state
of Maryland.
Benefits of the MSBR
Each month, the MSBR holds an event with
invited government guests and speakers. This allows members ample
opportunities to network with invited guests including prominent
political and government leaders and colleagues from over 72 local
companies. Selected speakers represent a cross-section of top political,
NASA, and DOD leaders.
So what value does this bring to you and your business? Here are
just a few ways the MSBR can help you:
- Enhanced personal contacts with government and industry
- Entry into the Space Industry
- Assistance in locating prime and subcontractor teammates
- Discover space applications for your products and services
- Provide in-depth understanding of future space program requirements
- Provides forum for individual members to network with the "big
guys"
